Reliability Of Conventional Two-Dimensional Magnetic Resonance Imaging For Diagnosing Extraforaminal Stenosis In Lumbosacral Transition

چکیده
Introduction: Three-dimensional (3D) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is reportedly superior to two-dimensional (2D) MRI for diagnosing lumbar foraminal stenosis at L5–S1. In this study, we strictly distinguished the intra- and extraforaminal regions compared diagnostic reliability accuracy of 2D 3D in each region.

Differentiation between Symptomatic and Asymptomatic Extraforaminal Stenosis in Lumbosacral Transitional Vertebra: Role of Three-Dimensional Magnetic Resonance Lumbosacral Radiculography
OBJECTIVE To investigate the role of lumbosacral radiculography using 3-dimentional (3D) magnetic resonance (MR) rendering for diagnostic information of symptomatic extraforaminal stenosis in lumbosacral transitional vertebra. MATERIALS AND METHODS The study population consisted of 18 patients with symptomatic (n = 10) and asymptomatic extraforaminal stenosis (n = 8) in lumbosacral transition...
متن کاملMyocardial perfusion magnetic resonance imaging for diagnosing coronary arterial stenosis.
It has been reported that myocardial perfusion MRI is a useful method for evaluating the severity of myocardial ischemia. We evaluated whether the severity of coronary arterial stenosis could be assessed by the signal-intensity time curve (SITC) obtained by myocardial perfusion MRI. The subjects consisted of 10 patients who showed no abnormalities on coronary angiographies (CAG) (A group), 12 w...
متن کاملSoftware Tools for the Analysis of Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) has become the most popular method for imaging of brain functions. Currently, there is a large variety of software packages for the analysis of fMRI data, each providing many features for users. Since there is no single package that can provide all the necessary analyses for the fMRI data, it is helpful to know the features of each software package. ...
متن کاملDesign and Fabrication of a Four-Dimensional Respiratory Phantom for Studying Tumor Movement in Radiotherapy with Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Introduction: In radiation therapy, determining the location of the tumor accurately during irradiation is one of the most important requirements. However, lung tumors are not fixed in a single location and move during irradiation due to respiratory motion. Due to limitations in assessing such movements, using a lung phantom can be useful and operational for their fast, easy an...
